LAHORE: There is wonderful news for people who are seeking higher education, as the Punjab government has established a new laptop program for students.
110,000 cutting-edge 13-generation Core i7 laptops will be given away to qualified students as part of the program.
With a merit-based selection process, the program is available to medical students and first- and second-semester BS students at public sector universities.
Within hours of the online application portal’s opening, thousands of students had already registered.
The minister added that 80% of medical students must meet the merit requirements, whereas 65% of BS students must.
