According to The News on Saturday, Jamia Naeemia in Lahore has issued a religious decree that forbids using unlawful methods to leave Pakistan.
Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi and Mufti Imran Hanfi have issued the religious decree. According to the order, it is not only illegal but also against Shariah to travel overseas by illegitimate means.
It stated that it is forbidden Islamic Shariah to commit suicide or take any action that puts one’s life in danger.
The decree stated that anyone who commits suicide or follows a course of action that results in his death could never be permitted in Islam under any circumstances. It also recommended those who are thinking about traveling overseas to do so in a safe and legal manner.
