RAWALPINDI: PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, and the party’s chairman, Barrister Gohar Khan, and Barrister Salman Akram Raja, engaged in a contentious legal dispute in the Adiala Jail courtroom regarding allegations of fatalities during the party’s demonstrations in the capital, according to The News.
The altercation took place at the Toshakhana 2 case hearing.
Aleema Khan questioned the veracity of Gohar’s stated 12 fatalities during the D-Chowk demonstration. In defense of the figure, Barrister Gohar stated that more information was required for verification.
Gohar was also questioned by Aleema over the quantity of PTI demonstrators who went AWOL. He responded by telling her that teams had been established and were tackling the problem.
