LAHORE: After Babar Azam was dropped from the series, Pakistan on Monday revealed their playing XI for the second Test against England, which is scheduled to start on Tuesday (tomorrow). Kamran Ghulam is expected to make his debut in that squad.
Additionally, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, and Zahid Mehmood will participate in the second Test since Abrar Ahmad is unable to play owing to illness, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sarfaraz Ahmed have been rested.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 16-man roster the day before, saying that Babar, Shaheen, and Naseem had been “rested” along with wicketkeeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed, who had also been discharged by the board.
The Green Shirts were down by 47 runs in one innings during a rather ugly game.
