To honor Imam Hussain (RA) and his faithful companions for their sacrifice at Karbala, mourning processions were held nationwide on Wednesday in connection with Youm-e-Ashur, the tenth day of Muharram-ul-Haram.
In order to ensure law and order and prevent any untoward incidents, mobile phone and internet services were suspended in all cities and Civil Armed Forces (CAF) and Pakistan Army forces were stationed.
Today serves as a moving reminder of the steadfast fortitude of Imam Hussain (RA), the revered grandson of the Prophet (PBUH), his loved ones, and loyal allies who bravely upheld Islam against injustice and hostility.All around the nation, the Ashura processions came to a peaceful end, and in certain areas, cell phone and internet access was also gradually being restored.
