According to CTD Director General Asif Ejaz Sheikh, the terrorists who were detained were using social media to communicate with the TTP leadership, which was based in Afghanistan and was gathering money for the terrorist group.
The police stated that money had been collected from militants who had just returned from an operation in Afghanistan.
