Due to allegations that he mistreated the singer “physically and verbally,” Doja Cat’s mother is taking her son to court.
Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, the mother of the 30-year-old artist, is said to have sought a temporary restraining order against Ramon Dalithando Dlamini, claiming that he “knocked out Doja’s teeth.”
Despite not disclosing the exact time of the occurrence, she did say that the most recent disturbance happened earlier this month.
She further stated that Raman had given “cuts and bruises” to Doja, whose true name is Amala Ratna Zandile, and had also taken and damaged some of her belongings.
Deborah persisted in her accusations in her filing, saying that her son had treated her sister “abusively in a very degrading and demeaning manner which made her daughter feel unsafe and traumatized.”
While the hearing for a permanent restraining order is still ongoing, the judge did provide her with court-ordered protection from her son.
He decided that Doja must seek a restraining order on her own and did not issue one for her.
