Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is under a weather advisory issued by the Met Department, which predicts rain, wind, and thunder in most districts from Friday through Monday.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has alerted all district administrations to the anticipated weather conditions.
The PDMA director general stressed in a statement how crucial it is to warn travelers about the forecast weather conditions in order to protect their safety. Additionally, he gave the local administrations instructions to make sure that large and small machinery is available to manage any unfortunate situations that may occur as a result of the bad weather.
According to reports, PDMA’s emergency number, 1700, is fully operating and prepared to help with any crises that may arise during this time.
