After divorcing Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello seven years into their marriage, Sofia Vergara was forthright about her dating life when she disclosed that she is currently “single.”
After her divorce, the Modern Family star was briefly connected to Dr. Justin Saliman when they were sighted together, but their romance did not last long.
During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Vergara discussed her trip to New York City and opened up about her dating life.
“I love it,” she exclaimed. Who is not enamored of New York City? The vitality is in the people, she continued. “I believe you have more options with men, too,” she said.
“Now that I’m single, there are more people in New York,”
There’s a larger [pool], in my opinion, than just performers, writers, and directors. I intend to extend my stay in New York.”
“There’s delicious food available for romantic dates. Yes, it’s better,” Vergara remarked.
On CBS’ Sunday Morning, she recently discussed her divorce from Manganiello, adding, “I’ve been moving on.” People recognize that being in the public glare is a necessary aspect of becoming a star.
“I anticipated receiving media attention. Those are things you can’t hide,” she continued. It wasn’t too horrible. You know, I have to admit that the press was really kind and respectful.
And I assumed that they would continue to invent stuff, because you know how it generally works out.
