ISLAMABAD: A westerly wave is predicted to arrive on January 18, and the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted moderate showers, windstorms, and snowfall in hilly regions of northern and northwest Balochistan from January 18 to 21.
Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Chagi, Noushki, Kalat, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Harnai, Zhob, Musakhel, Kharan, Kech, Panjgur, and Gwadar are among the places where the weather system is predicted to deliver moderate rain and windstorms from January 18 to 20.
Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Waziristan, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Karak, Kohat, Murree, Galliyat, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are also expected to experience rain, windstorms, and snowfall from January 18 to 21.
