Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has referred to the former ruling party as “a group of terrorists” that she feels needs to be “eradicated” as the federal government vows to take action against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after its “do-or-die” demonstration in Islamabad.
These remarks were spoken by the chief minister during the “Suthra Punjab” launch ceremony, which intended to improve sanitation throughout Punjab.
CM Maryam emphasized the need to rid Pakistan’s streets of political filth, pointing out that the current administration has conducted peaceful processions and demonstrations for the past four years.
“Those who identify as democratic ought to act democratically as well. “No one stopped you as long as you kept holding processions and rallies,” she claimed.
