On June 21, 2024, Havaldar Aqeel Ahmad, a soldier from Okara district, was killed in the Sada area of Kurram district during an anti-terrorist operation. The soldier from the Pakistan Army departs from his mother, spouse, and two kids.
The soldier’s family members discussed their feelings on his martyrdom. Aqeel’s mother claimed that he had always wanted to enlist in the Pakistan Army and become a martyr. She declared that if necessary, she was willing to sacrifice her other three sons for the country.
Aqeel’s wife said that she misses him terribly and that he was a devoted husband and parent. She want to prepare their son to enlist in the military so he can emulate his father.
