A South Karachi court magistrate has ordered police to remand the suspect in the CEO of a software company’s murder.
The CEO, Naveed, was allegedly assassinated by the culprit, named as Shoaib, for an outstanding salary.
Shoaib was brought before the local court by the police, and he claimed that he was employed by the company as a software developer but hadn’t gotten his pay in three months.
Shoaib stated in the hearing that he thought the CEO was making fun of him as he was talking to Naveed about the salary issue.
He stormed back to the kitchen, snatching a knife, and approached Naveed. Shoaib stabbed Naveed after he continued to speak in a disrespectful manner.
