KARACHI: Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz has warned that severe winds would begin to blow over the port city tomorrow, with gusts of up to 25 to 35 km/h.
The city will be impacted by the northeastern winds on December 24 and 25.
The temperature is predicted to drop noticeably over this time, with a high of about 25°C throughout the day. At night, however, it is expected to be much colder, with temperatures perhaps falling to 9°C to 11°C.
The meteorological expert’s comments coincide with several instances during the current month when the temperature in the nation’s financial center has fallen to single digits.
With temperatures below freezing, the current cold wave is not just affecting the city.
