A new program has been launched by the Pakistani government to lessen the financial strain on low- and middle-income individuals who intend to perform the Hajj.
A proposal has been presented to the federal cabinet for approval that would permit pilgrims to pay for their Hajj fees in three installments as opposed to in one big sum.
It is projected that the entire cost of the Hajj would be around Rs1.1 million under this suggested payment plan. The first cost for prospective pilgrims to apply for the Hajj will be Rs200,000.
Following their lottery selection, they would have to pay an extra Rs400,000, with the remaining amount being paid before they could leave.
