In January 2023, 57-year-old Ross Kinghorn left Linlithgow, West Lothian, by train with the goal of visiting Perthshire’s Bridge of Tilt region.
After disappearing from Blair Atholl, he is thought to have headed towards the neighboring Beinn a’ Ghlo hill range.
Afterwards, during a search effort, Mr. Kinghorn’s personal belongings were discovered close to Bridge of Tilt.
This week, Police Scotland provided an update, stating that on Tuesday at approximately 4:50 p.m., a man’s body was found in the Glenfernate neighborhood of Blairgowrie.
Although official identification has not yet occurred, the force believes it to be Mr.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances,” a police spokeswoman continued. “A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
