KARACHI: As winter tightens its hold with the anticipated rain and snowfall in several regions of the nation, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) warned on Saturday that Sindh is expected to experience a “mild cold wave” beginning today.
According to the Met office’s most recent forecast for the southern province, nighttime temperatures in upper Sindh are predicted to drop by 7 to 9 degrees Celsius.
Nighttime temperatures in central Sindh are predicted to be between 9°C and 11°C, while those in southern Sindh are predicted to be between 10°C and 12°C.
Specifically, tonight and Sunday evening temperatures in Karachi could drop as low as 11°C to 13°C.
Additionally, the Met Office predicted that cool, dry breezes from the northeast and northwest will persist.
