PARACHINAR: According to The News, the district administration set up camps for TDPs in four village councils in the lower Kurram tribal district in preparation for a possible counterterrorism operation.
The deputy commissioner has issued a notification for an operation in the four village councils of Bagan, Mandori, Charkhel, Ochat, Chapri, and Chapripao in lower Kurram in order to safeguard the roadways and bring about enduring peace.
The district court has allotted a block for the TDPs, and camps have been established at Rescue 1122, Tal, Degree College, and Technical College.
According to the district administration, Deputy Commissioner Javedullah was specifically targeted in one of the several attacks on convoys and automobiles that have occurred in the Bagan region and beyond.
