Bludfest, a one-day event at Milton Keynes Bowl, will be headlined by the genre-bending singer-songwriter. Other artists include punk trio Soft Play, rapper and singer Little Yachty, singer-songwriters Nessa Barrett, Lola Young, and Jazmin Bean, and The Damned in an “icons” slot.
The artist expressed his frustration with the high cost of concerts and festivals in an interview with the New York Times before making the news.
“I think like it all needs shaking up a little bit,” he continues. “I think the events, concerts, and activities that are scheduled don’t really reflect the people in the world.
“I think that concerts and festivals are too costly, so I just wanted to focus on making something that my crew and I worked on entirely to demonstrate that, you know what? It can be carried out more skillfully. It has the potential to be more representational.”
Bludfest tickets will cost £49.50, which is far less than the cost of day passes to some major festivals.
