ISLAMABAD The federal cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, approved the Hajj Policy 2025 on Tuesday, opening the door for 179,210 Pakistanis to make the Hajj the following year.
According to a statement from the PM Office, the Hajj quota will be distributed equally between public and private programs, and children under the age of 12 are not permitted to participate in the holy trip.
The government program will cost between Rs1,065,000 and Rs1,075,000 each pilgrim, according to sources who spoke to News.
They further stated that after the cabinet gave its approval, a timeline for Hajj applications would be released and bank requests would be gathered by November 25.
The government will forward the Hajj Policy 2025 approved draft.
