International Women’s Day was commemorated with spectacular celebrations in Spin Qamar, South Waziristan, praising women’s essential role in society and recognizing the Pakistan Army’s efforts to promote women’s education.
Local women and students enthusiastically participated in the festivities, with schoolchildren giving speeches underlining the importance of women’s education. The District Education Officer personally controlled annual admissions, providing equal access to education for all children.
