A court was informed on Monday that Ms. Price, who was previously declared bankrupt in 2019, owed £761,994.05 to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
Judge Sebastian Prentis of the Insolvency and Companies Court declared Ms. Price bankrupt after a brief hearing at London’s Rolls Building, stating that she had not replied to HMRC on the debt.
“The debtor has not responded at all. He declared, “The paperwork is in order.”
“There is a substantial debt due from Ms Price to HMRC, and therefore I will make a bankruptcy order.”
The bill “derives from self-assessments from the year 2020–21 and from the year 2020,” the judge declared.
In a second case involving unpaid debts, she was also ordered in February by a different judge to give trustees 40% of her earnings from the adult entertainment website news for the following three years. It was announced during the hearing that she would be questioned about her money in April.
