Numerous districts in Lahore have been without electricity since Thursday morning due to extensive power outages caused by heavy rain.
Walled City, Ferozepur Road, Gulberg, Shalamar Town, Jail Road, and Mughalpura are among the impacted locations.
According to the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), 289 feeders have tripped as a result of the rain, and repairs are still being made. The energy could not be restored even though LESCO personnel was performing field maintenance.
The city’s daily operations and businesses were negatively impacted by the protracted power outage. Traders vented their frustration, saying that having no power since the morning interfered with their business and had them wait for it to come back.
A representative for LESCO promised that every effort is being made to quickly restore power .
