The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast another bout of heavy rains from March 5 to March 7.
The authority issued an advice warning that weather in the next weeks might cause flash flooding, snowstorms, and landslides across the country.
The rains are most expected to strike Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Upper and Southern Punjab, and Balochistan, according to the report.
Meanwhile, most of the country will continue to have cold and dry weather.
According to the PMD, Sindh will continue to experience a severe cold wave.
The temperature in the province will drop by 10 degrees in a few days compared to average March weather.”The average March temperature in Karachi is 19.4°C. Today’s temperature in Karachi was 11.1°C, 8.3°C lower than the average March temperature,” the PMD claimed.
