The top ten candidates who received the most votes in the 2018 election

PTI leaders, including founder Imran Khan, top the list of candidates who bagged the highest number of votes

In an effort to win over voters and secure a commanding lead over their opponents, political parties across the nation have intensified their campaigns as the nation prepares for the elections on February 8.

Even though fewer people have cast ballots in the general elections that have followed, certain candidates, including former prime minister Imran Khan, have managed to secure seats by garnering the most votes in the 2018 election.

Candidates with the most number of votes received
After garnering 165,835 votes in the NA-87 constituency, Chaudhry Shaukat Ali Bhatti of the PTI won the most votes in the 2018 general elections.

Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tea Party (PTI) and a former cricket player turned politician, ran in NA-95 and received 165,518 votes, which was the second-highest total of any candidate.

Tahir Sadiq, a PTI candidate, ran in the 2018 election from NA-56 and received 164,178 votes, placing him third overall.

In the 2018 elections, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal ran from NA-78 and defeated opponent PTI candidate Abrar ul Haq with 160,020 votes.

In the 2018 elections, PML-Q leader Parvez Elahi ran from the NA-65 constituency and received a total of 158,477 votes.

In the 2018 elections, Amjid Ali Khan, a PTI candidate, received 158,191 votes from NA-96.

In the 2018 elections, Zulfiqar Ali Khan, a PTI candidate, earned 155,598 votes from the NA-64 constituency, making him the seventh-highest vote-getter.

In the 2018 elections, Shams un Nisa, a female PPP candidate, ran against the polls from the NA-232 constituency and received 152,700 votes.

On the PML-N ticket, Nasir Iqbal Bosal received 147,394 votes in NA-86 at the 2018 general elections.

In the 2018 general elections, PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif received 146,306 votes from the NA-124 constituency.
